We Are The Artists Of Life
We are the artists of life
and in each and every moment
when we open our eyes
to see that we are the opponents
in the game of life we play
to find out who we are
where every night and day
we feel both near and far
from what we have imagined
as we’ve considered our potential
and limits have been fashioned
but when we get to the essential
essence of our being
beyond all the constructs
and we can change our seeing
if we can only disrupt
the patterns that we follow
that were designed by others
but we don’t need to wallow
or feel as if we’re smothered
because we can break through the barriers
that keep us from who we are
for we are more superior
when we realize we are stars
and the more we shine for others
and move beyond beyond
fewer of us suffer
and more are able to respond
